As part of the ZellSys project, a second citizen survey was conducted from 02.11.-20.12.2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The aim of the ZellSys project<\/strong> is to develop a feasibility study for the transformation to a cellular energy system for the town of Wittichenau, with the clear involvement of citizens.<\/p>\n

The aim of this survey<\/strong> is to compare our assumptions about future scenarios with current experiences in your region. A central concern is to compare the considerations regarding refurbishment and the development of e-mobility. Other central topics of the survey were the provision of information (type (newspaper, internet, etc.), contact points for subsidies), wishes and readiness for municipal heat planning.
\nAt the end of the period, a total of almost 259 complete responses<\/strong> had been received.<\/p>\n

Further development of possible future scenarios will be carried out using the information from the citizen survey. In addition, the local suggestions from the comments field will be taken into account in further project development.<\/p>\n

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your active participation in the survey and look forward to continuing to work together on the ZellSys project for the joint, sustainable and successful further development of the town of Wittichenau.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    At the end of the ZellSys survey, there was an empty comment field to give respondents the opportunity to make comments. The following is a selection of comments and local suggestions.<\/p>\n

    Selection of comments:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • \u201cConstruction of public charging stations\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cCompetitive prices, supply and price security, no wind turbines in the immediate vicinity\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cOwn energy supply through biogas, solar, wind power with storage. Hydrogen storage.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cMore action on renewable energies, solar systems should also be possible in the city center\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cThat life (electricity and heating) remains affordable.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cMore funding for energy-efficient retrofitting of existing buildings!\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cMore opportunities for tenants to invest in PV systems. Abolition of the building permit requirement for a free-standing PV system on your own property\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cPut the energy supply in the hands of the city!\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cProgressive, technology-open orientation of energy planning.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cAdvisor on possible subsidies at the building authority\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cParticipation in energy projects\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cCost-effective energy and heat supply\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cMaintaining the natural gas supply. Focus on hydrogen technology in the future.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cSwitch the local energy supply from gas to renewable energy\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cPlease include the villages in the planning process.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cEconomic efficiency, honesty\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cDraw up a heating plan, develop prospects for EVSE\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cMany wind turbines. Involve citizens in the sale\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cComm. Energy supply should be sustainable and affordable\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cDon’t forget the citizens\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cBecoming greener in a meaningful way, involving citizens and companies\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cSupply with hydrogen\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cBe open to all technologies, involve all stakeholders, especially citizens; a successful energy and heat transition is only possible if everyone works together\u201d<\/li>\n
    • \u201cTransparency, information\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
